The World Coal Association is hosting in London two half-day forums about carbon capture use and storage (CCUS) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The morning event will discuss the role that CCUS can play on the pathway to zero emissions from coal. The SDG forum will take place in the afternoon and will provide a platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue to discuss how coal can further support the achievement of the goals.
The discussions will gather a broad range of experts and policy makers from different countries, organisations, governments and companies.
The World Coal Association is the global industry association for coal, formed of coal producers, allied companies and stakeholders. The WCA works to demonstrate and gain acceptance for the fundamental role coal plays in achieving a sustainable and lower emission energy future.
