WCA Side Events at UNFCCC Meetings in Bali
The World Coal Association attended the climate change negotiations in Bali in December 2007. WCA organised a side event, as well as being involved in an inter-association side event.
Coal’s Contribution in a Carbon Constrained World’
The WCA side event was held on Wednesday 12 December. The event explored a variety of perspectives on the prospects for coal in the 21st century. Below are presentations from the event:

WCA was also involved in the inter-association side event ‘Business Perspectives on CO2 Capture and Geological Storage: Enabling Widespread Application’, Monday 10 December. The event was hosted by Edison Electric Institute, Electric Power Research Institute, Eurelectric, International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association and WCA.
