Milton Catelin, WCA Chief Executive, opens the International Coal & Climate Summit

The World Coal Association hosted the 'International Coal & Climate Summit' in Warsaw on 18-19 November 2013. The Summit brought together the leadership of the world's largest coal producing companies, senior policy-makers, business leaders, academics and NGO representatives to discuss the role of coal in the global economy, in the context of the climate change agenda.

The event - co-hosted by - was held at the Ministry of Economy of Poland and was opened by Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Janusz Piechociński.
