WCA Launches YouTube Channel

The World Coal Association recently launched its new YouTube channel at: www.youtube.com/worldcoal
The channel was launched with a series of new films featuring interviews with a number of WCA Directors, including WCA Chairman Fredrick D. Palmer (Peabody Energy) and WCA Chief Executive, Milton Catelin. Mr Catelin highlighted in his interview that although it was important for the coal industry to be active on a local and national level, "there are advantages to having an international hub where producers and coal stakeholders can get together and discuss in a constructive fashion the challenges and opportunities that face them".
In the interviews, Directors from Member companies Solid Energy New Zealand, Joy Global and Anglo American talk about the work of the WCA, the importance of the coal industry having a voice on a global basis and why their companies joined the organisation.
