WCI Chief Executive to Speak at
London CCS Event

Milton Catelin, Chief Executive of the World Coal Institute, will be speaking in London next month at the 3rd Annual European Carbon Capture & Storage Summit

The conference, held on 18-19 November, will bring together a wide range of speakers to discuss and debate some of the key issues facing CCS. This year's agenda will take a look at the current economic climate, an update from European projects and UK demonstration projects, public perception of CCS, environmental issues, in depth discussions about the technology, economics and financing, legislation and risk management and finally international progress.

Other speakers at this event include: Simon Brooks, Vice President, European Investment Bank; Charles Hendry, Shadow Minister for Energy, Conservative Party; Gardiner Hill, Vice-Chair, ZEP & Manager CCS Technology & Engineering, BP; Derek Taylor, Director of BEST (Bellona Environmental CCS Team) Leadership Forum, Bellona Foundation; and Piot Tulej, Head of Unit, Energy and Environment, European Commission.
