Underground Coal Gasification
Training Course

This bespoke week long course has been developed by the Underground Coal Gasification Association (UCGA) and Imperial College to deliver a comprehensive understanding of UCG technology and the potential it offers as a safe low carbon coal process.

A multi-disciplined technology - comprising many techniques common place within the oil and gas sector - obtaining greater insight and understanding of the basic UCG process can provide career opportunities for many and potential revenue streams for service and equipment providers.

The course will be of interest to geologists, chemical and mining engineers, hydrologists, oil and gas specialists, project managers, energy software providers, regulators, bankers, lawyers, accountants and providers of services to the gasification industry.

This intensive course is also important for those tasked with regulatory and licensing for UCG and will give a much sought after insider view of this.

Course fee: UCGA Members £1500 + VAT = £1762.50 per delegate

Non Members £1800 + VAT = £2115.00 per delegate

Preference is given to UCGA Members.
